Are you plagued by anxiety and fears for which you can’t identify a source? Do you suffer nightmares, especially in the wee hours of the morning? If so, your town may be enduring a visit from Nyaralathotep.

H.P Lovecraft, “Nyarlathotep”

Also known as “The Crawling Chaos,” Nyarlathotep is a “tall, slim, and joyous” man who brings nightmares and a foreboding sense of anxiety everywhere he goes. Unlike his greater cohorts, he moves among us, seeming to prefer the company (or perhaps the pain) of humans over aimless death and destruction. Of all the Outer Gods, he is the most likely to bring about the ruin of humanity–not through intergalactic invasion, but through the strategic application of paranoia, terror, and madness.
